Evelyn Haas, philanthropist and widow of Walter A. Haas Jr., died Wednesday at the age of 92. COLAGE sends its condolences to the Haas family.

Mrs. Haas will be remembered for her generosity in supporting many kinds of families. "It was about leveling the playing field so that all families could live and raise their families with equality and dignity, to make sure all families had an equal chance to enjoy their lives,” said Ira Hirschfield, president of the Evelyn and Walter Haas Jr. Foundation.
