Fundraising - To oversee and participate in developing the organizations long range resource development strategy and short range fundraising efforts, in particular the fundraising done by the board. Responsibilities include working with COLAGE staff to set annual fundraising goals and establish an annual fundraising plan, train and involve board members in efforts to raise money, plan and coordinate board fundraising activities, monitor and participate in all fundraising efforts, track board member commitments, provide support and accountability for meeting give and get commitments.

Board Development – This committee monitors board composition and ensures COLAGE board retains the necessary expertise and demographic diversity to sustain and enrich National board of directors. The committee also works to maintain and update the necessary materials to orient and train new board members and build a positive board environment through evaluation and other activities.

Finance – This committee advises on and monitors the organizations overall fiscal position, policies and management systems. The committee reviews financial reports produced by the accountant and works with the whole board to understand said reports. The committee also contributes oversight to annual budget process and advises and forecasts upcoming needs and works with COLAGE staff to make financial changes to meet the changing needs.

Executive
- Required by the COLAGE by-laws, this committee is responsible for the overall oversight and motivation of board members and board committees; monitors agency operations, conducts the performance review of ED, brings policy and other proposals to the whole board and handles official note-taking and archiving board meeting minutes.
