Lots to report here, so pay attention Queerspawn!

First and foremost...we are postponing the adult queerspawn potluck that was schedule for this Thursday evening. It sounds like weeknights are tough for many of you, so we are going to give Sunday April 22nd from 4-7 pm a try. Please RSVP to boston@colage.org -see you next month!

Second, we have two, that's right, TWO - count'em one, TWO - conference workshops coming up!
First is this Saturday the 24th of March at the VDay HEAL conference, here's the info you need:

Saturday, March 24th: HEAL Workshops
*Workshops will raise awareness about GLBT issues, sexual health,
healthy relationships, reproductive rights, empowerment, women's
issues, and the arts as activism and self-care.*
Location: Family Justice Center (989 Commonwealth Ave, Boston)
Time: 10:00am-5:00pm (registration & sign-in from 10:00-10:30)
Workshops presenters include: STAR Peer Educators, The National
Organization of Men Against Sexism, COLAGE-Children of Lesbians and
Gays Everywhere, a local Acupuncturist, Cast Members of the Vagina
Monologues, The Elisabeth Stone House and MORE!
Keynote Speakers: Family Justice Center staff & The Network/La Red staff
Admission to HEAL Workshops Only (includes lunch): Sliding Scale $10-20


And... the following Saturday, the 31st, we are presenting at the GLSEN Boston conference. Fabulous COLAGEr Sol Kelly-Jones will be the keynote speaker at the conference and our chapter will be doing a workshop on queerspawn as an out identity in school communities. And finally, we are SO registered for the pride parade, so dust off your marching shoes and pray to any rain gods and goddesses you know that we have better weather than last year. And spread the word! We want to have a big group this year, make sure you clear your calendar!
