Hey Boston COLAGErs, there are two things we need you for in the next 8 weeks...
1- We need you to get the word out about an important bill that extends legal protection of hate crimes to include crimes committed against people based on their gender identity and gender expression. The Massachusetts Tansgender Political Coalition has great information about how you can help move this bill forward. Check out their site and email us (boston@colage.org) if you have any questions.
2- Plan for Pride!!!! We are marching for the third time this year and we want you with us!!! We will also have a booth at the Pride Festival at City Hall Plaza, so we'll need one or two people to hold down the fort during the parade, and then you can all hang out there with Monica and I after the parade and talk to the folks who come by about COLAGE.
The parade and festival are on June 9th starting around noon. Don't miss it! Bring everyone you know!
