Nick Hetherington is one of the first known people with lesbian moms to be born through donor insemination. Today he is a leader of the COLAGE NYC chapter, and a wonderful advocate for people with LGBTQ parents.

In the article, 5 members of COLAGE’s New York City chapter were asked about their experiences living with LGBTQ parents, and confronting prejudice in the world. Overwhelmingly, the seven people interviewed agree that prejudice from the world, not their families, can be challenging and isolating. However, they all also talked about overcoming that prejudice and the pride they had in their families, and that in the end, our difference is our strength. Take a look at this beautiful article!
