Our House:a very real documentary about kids of gay and lesbian parents is supported by COLAGE (Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere), GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) and PFLAG (Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays), and Family Diversity Projects, Inc. Stefan Lynch, former director of COLAGE, has joined us as an Associate Producer and we are also working closely with Felicia Park-Rogers, current Director of COLAGE.

Funding for Our House is provided by the Independent Television Service (ITVS) and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. ITVS is a nonprofit organization funded by, but independent of, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

Unique in American public television, ITVS was established by Congress "to fund and promote programming that involves creative risks and addresses the needs of underserved audiences," while granting artistic control to independent producers. ITVS solicits innovative proposals from independent producers, selects projects for funding, promotes them for broadcast on public television and actively seeks new audiences for public television through community outreach.

ITVS has funded for public television over 250 single programs and limited series since its inception in 1991. Programs have gone on to win major journalistic and television awards, including Peabodys, duPont-Columbia Journalism Awards, Emmys, and an Academy Award nomination. ITVS programs have also won numerous awards and citations at leading domestic and international film and video festivals, including Sundance, Berlin and the San Francisco International Film Festival.

For information contact ITVS at 51 Federal St. #401, San Francisco, CA 94107; E-mail itvs@itvs.org or visit the ITVS website at http//www.itvs.org.

Additional funding for Our House is provided by The Soros Foundation.
