This will be the first year that COLAGE NYC goes to Lobby all of our legislators with sister organizations at the capital in Albany. Some major issues that we will be lobbying for include equal protection for LGBT parented families, Transgender Rights, Marriage Equality, Youth & Safe Schools and more...

And guess what... TODAY Gov. Patterson introduced Marriage Equality to NY Legislators... and they need to hear our voices!

Students can register for free, and anyone else can apply for a free registration - otherwise, registration (including lunch and the busride up to Albany) is $40.

Adult COLAGEr Potluck & Facilitator Workshop Apr 16 09

We are super lucky that Meredith Fenton, the national Program Director from COLAGE (based in San Francisco), will be visiting two weeks from now in April and will be joining us for an Adult COLAGEr potluck on Monday, April 20th. Along with our regular COLAGE dinner fun, Meredith will also provide some facilitation and outreach guidance for adult colagers interested in learning more about how to help program and conduct outreach for the NYC chapter.
