SAVE THE DATE! Family Week in Provincetown 2009
will be August 1st - 8th.

COLAGE is excited to be headed back to Provincetown for a week of unique and dynamic programming during Ptown Family Week 2009. For youth with one or more lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender parent/s, Family Week is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in the COLAGE program that offers community, empowerment and fun for youth entering 3rd grade and older. This year Provincetown Family Week is August 1 - August 8th, 2009.

COLAGE at Family Week
The COLAGE daily program includes recreational activities, peer workshops, creative expression activities, leadership development and youth empowerment that allow participants to gain confidence and pride, make new friends, express themselves creatively, and have a lot of fun. The COLAGE Family Week staff is an enthusiastic team of adults who share the experience of having an LGBTQ parent and create a fun and safe environment for all of our youth participants. Last summer over 200 youth ages 8-18 and more than 30 adult volunteers participated in the COLAGE Family Week program creating a vibrant community of people who have LGBTQ parents unlike any other.

During Family Week 2009 COLAGE sponsors an independent program for youth in 3rd grade and older with one or more LGBTQ parent/s. Family Equality Council will offer education and entertainment for families and young children.
