The voices of youth and adults with LGBT parents provide a unique and powerful way to educate and raise awareness. Members of our Speak OUT program and COLAGE staff members provide panels, trainings and workshops to schools, community centers, social workers, companies and more. Our ability to provide this type of public education depends on the location of our Speak OUT members. 
The kids and teachers, and the school as a whole, really benefited from your presentations and willingness to share your experiences. We've had some interesting follow-up discussions and continued to show "That's A Family" with classes. We continue to have work to do on the playground - I think that's the work of our lifetimes! Feedback from teachers and students was really positive. So thanks again and we hope to do an even more extensive family themed unit for the school next year and I'm sure to be contacting COLAGE again! - Elementary School Teacher, Berkeley, CA
