We are thrilled to announce that Wilson Cruz will join us to emcee COLAGE’s 20th Anniversary Party!
Wilson Cruz has been a fierce advocate and role-model for the LGBTQ community, especially LGBTQ youth of color, since his groundbreaking role as an openly gay teen on the hit tv series My So Called Life. Cruz was one of the few openly gay actors in the early 90s. Since then, he has performed on broadaway and in many television shows and movies including Rent, Party of Five, and Ally McBeal. He continues to volunteer and lend his talents to numerous LGBTQ organizations. Cruz was the 2005 Grand Marshall of the Chicago Pride Parade and the 1998 West Hollywood Gay Pride parade. In February of 2010 he hosted the GLAAD Media Awards.
